Blackberry Mint Lavender Margarita Cocktail and Mocktail

Whether you’re participating in #DryJanuary or #DrunkJanuary, this Blackberry Mint Lavender Margarita is perfect either way.

I’ve shared several ways to use mint for your simple syrups below. I chose to start with the mint/lavender combination and it’s the gift that keeps on giving.

So, don’t forget to make your mint/lavender simple syrup before starting this cocktail. If you don’t have lavender or mint, you can still make it with what you have and it’ll turn out deliciously.

Ingredients (makes 1 serving):

  • 7 blueberries

  • 2 oz. tequila

  • 1 oz. mint lavender simple syrup

  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice

  • 6 mint leaves

  • Club soda, if making a mocktail

Instructions:

  1. Muddle blueberries in mixing tin or cocktail shaker.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients (except tequila for the cocktail and club soda if making a mocktail) to the mixing tin along with ice. Shake for 10-15 seconds.

  3. Pour into margarita glass. For a mocktail, top with club soda.

  4. Garnish with blackberries or lime.

Super simple yet so much flavor! Would you give this a try?
